Cross Country Aerobic Training for the 5k

In this video Coach Scott Christensen explains that the 5k race is mostly aerobic. He uses a chart of aerobic contribution to show that 92 percent of the race is aerobic leaving eight percent of the 5k to be anaerobic. Christensen provides a step-by-step breakdown and gives race markers that can be used to help set goal times and performances.
